Steeple Jack

Brilliant! Unlike much that is shrink wrapped and disseminated to a bleating public there was a thought provoking story line behind this great film. A background of ingrained prejudice, a war of allegiances, the class system, academic rigour versus home spun theory and so on are fascinating constructs to work through with the dramatis personae. Jeremy Irons at his best and Dev Patel showing the range of his acting ability and all set in a fairly good University setting - not quite Oxford but it will do! Gripping and poignant and for one I thoroughly enjoyed it!
