For me, this drama is underrated. It’s not the typical cliché romantic genre kdrama with hyper energetic characters doing random things in the name of being shown in love, embarrassing themselves in public and what not, standing under a cherry blossom while looking at each other just because the scene looks good. No, this romance is more grounded and felt realistic to me. Unlike other romcoms I have watched, this show has character’s past affecting their present and their decision making, how the leads are so close to finding each other and yet so far,but still have the yearning look and they aren’t together because of the timing being off or some other reason. Also the supporting cast (the other love interests) aren’t shown as devilish. There is calming music and silence to convey emotions. Acting is superb. Overall a very underrated drama. I can see why people who are somehow more used to mainstream romance in tv shows would be bored of it, but for someone who appreciates story and character developments, and the art of showing a particular emotion without need of dialogues to tell you what a character is feeling, please watch this. Still ongoing. At the time of this comment there’s 10 episodes, I binged it. For someone who doesn’t feel the urge to binge things anymore and is easily distracted because of their short attention span, that’s saying something.
