I have sunk hundreds of hours into the original over many play through and this remake is a great addition to the lore. It is not 100% copied from the original storyline wise and uses it artistic licence a lot but I found these really interesting additions. Some textures stand out for being bad, especially the back drops but combat and animations are tremendous. The music is one of the best features bringing new life to the original OST with full orchestras. The ending will divide opinions but I thought it was incredible to bring new life into the story. If you want the original best for beat, then play it, This isn’t the same with just updated graphics. This is more a reimagining of the original which I welcome.
