Yasmin, I REALLY liked your commentary on September 12 about growing up in a small town, about your feeling treated as somewhat Other (along with the other minorities in town) but also having white friends. It was such a real and human anecdote, I hope you share more of your own opinions and personal points of view in the future. I know professional journalists are supposed to stay objective, in the main, but the news goes down so much better when it comes from real people and not robots. And you have such a personal history to share about being Muslim in the United States, I hope we hear more of your stories in the future. Thank you for your service!
