I didn’t expect much from this movie, just based on the title. Why 47 meters? Why not 50, make it a nice number? Anyway, right from the beginning this movie gave off basic bad teen movie vibes, but that’s okay. We all knew what we were getting ourselves into. Spoiler Alert! The deaths of almost everyone were neither surprising nor heartbreaking, like they were supposed to be. The main character, Mia, was annoying at best. All in all, this movie was boring, frustrating, and ridiculous. Definitely would not recommend. Side note: IMDB said that the girls were wearing inappropriately exposing bikinis and I would like to clear this rumour up by confirming that this is not true. The bathing suits were bikinis, but they were barely revealing.
