I really liked this film but the storyline was predictable. First off, I would like to acknowledge the good parts of the movie: Elsa Chang was really effective in her scenes as an antagonist. Claire (Peyton List) overcoming her fear of getting back in the water with some encouragement from her friends. It has very effective underwater shots which made me very engaged in the movie. Broady was a humorous character which lightens up the movie. Makayla, who was a rival of Peyton List, didn't like her at first, but throughout the movie, she starts to warm up to her and starts to be friends with her. Now with the not-so-great stuff parts: Liam's acting and character arc were stale compared to Peyton list's redemption arc. The movie had a bad choice of music and I ignored it. The transitions between scenes made me feel awkward and cringe. Therefore, the movie was great and I loved it even with the bad choice of music and cringy transitions.
