It cannot possibly be as detailed as the books. Impossible and why would anyone expect it to be? It's somewhat different but it's television. So far, so good and I think it does disperse a feeling of abject horror with the Twelve. The acting is great and they are doing a good job of moving things along. I don't know how many episodes there will be but they better get hopping if theres only 10. More on the show: honestly after watching this week's episode "I want to know what you taste like" the Amy character is somewhat disappointing. She is being portrayed completely different than the original character. That was obvious during the episode. She was fiesty, strong, talking back to Wolgast, a typical little girl of her portrayed age. But that is nothing like the Amy in the book since she wasn't your typical child at all. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. I have an open mind.
