Absolutely amazing game. The combat has a fantastic amount of depth. The economy, factions, industry mechanics have all been developed and built upon over the years. The amount of content in this game is staggering, especially once you start getting into modded content. If you like games like SPAZ, this is all those games on steroids. If you liked the shipbuilding / planning in games like EVE or Mech Warrior, this game will definitely scratch that itch. I keep coming back to this game every year or so, and every time I enjoy discovering new things about it.
