This movie did the games a great justice. I don’t think the critics are seeing it for what it is, a prelude to the well known characters and story line gamers have loved for well over a decade. To see the origin story of these characters come to life on the big screen was nostalgic and fulfilling as someone who grew up watching and playing the games.

I think critics don’t know what they are talking about when it comes to this movie. Acting was incredible, the script was incredible, and cinematography was unspeakably beautiful. Maybe critics have gotten so used to flashy Hollywood they don’t know how to experience and appreciate a realistically written and portrayed story. I recommend Cherry to everyone I know. Masterpiece of a film and I will watch it again and again.

The acting was superb. The storyline was a little dry but spent a lot of time character building which is important in a movie that could potentially have a sequel. I think chaos walking is definitely worth the watch even if just for the incredible actors. I just hope that they will consider making a sequel, with all the build up they did with each main character, there is so much potential for the sequel’s plot to be thrilling and engaging.
