After watching a lot of better Korean dramas in the market, I had high expectations and standards in dramas that were allegedly "good" according to my peers. However, everything went downhill when I watched this EASILY PREDICTABLE AND BLAND drama. In short, DISAPPOINTING.
The theme of Where Stars Land could've had potential in becoming a hit if only it were written well. What this drama lacks is a detailed and solid storyline as well as common sense. The drama could have been okay if it weren't for how they wrote the female lead's character. For the most part, especially from the beginning of the drama, her character is pretty much very unlikable and too self-centered, as if the whole world revolved around her. Ultimately, I didn't even care if I missed any scenes while I leave to go take a piss because the lines were so generic and predictable. The other characters were interesting though, and it would have been nice if the drama didn't only focus on the two main protagonists, but with the other characters as well. Furthermore, the two security guards had a much more interesting relationship and could possibly be a good plot in making a different and fresh romantic drama of two airport security employees. I don't know why I even tried to watch it until the very last episode, but boy was it the most disappointing and underwhelming ending that I could ever watch.
But in the end, everything boils down in one's personal preference, so feel free to watch and enjoy it in your own discretion, or stop watching it immediately if you couldn't take it anymore; because I know that I should've stopped immediately after episode 1.
