Please bring this back! I have just finished the first episode and could not quit laughing. I was laughing so hard that the tears were steaming out of my eyes and I couldn't stop. I had to pause the show just so I could finish laughing and hit play again. It was hilarious!!! I don't think I've ever seen such a great laugh my butt off show in... ever. I found it on Amazon prime, on our BBC subscription of free shows.

Bette Midler is the best. This movie is still an amazing and sad story with incredible music

Listen, I have just finished season 8. I must say that British television is so much better than anything on the telly here in the US. It is simply good entertainment. There isn't the gratuitous sex, vulgarity or violence that American TV seems to need. Please reconsider this show staying on. It has such unique plots and storyline and never gets old. Every actor has a significant role and does it well. The writing, producing and directing is so well done. It will be a shame not to see it anymore

Another great show. Nothing posh, vain, sex driven or overly gruesome. Just great writing, unique shows and excellent actors. Love British tv!

I realize it is an older show, but this is great entertainment as well as wonderful episodes of personal blessings to a few contestants who longed for things to better their lives or bring connection with distant loved ones. It is unfortunate that this show is not currently happening. Just a little slice of wholesome fun and hope in this tough world. And Howie was great too.

What an exceptional story of our fight to be someone, to matter to others and our recognition of what truly matters. This movie brings in the raw unflinching humanness and shows us, truly, where people and life demand something from us, God uses us where we are. The rating should be a LOT higher Good job Stuart, for listening to His call and not letting obstacles get in the way of what He can do. And good job, Mark, for the same. This is His message. By the way, the acting was superb, the story realistic and the whole thing was so very well done that you get lost in the emotions of it all. This could be any one of us.
