I've been watching Corrie since it first broadcast back in 1960. However, I have to comment on that dreadful, manipulative, nasty, evil GEOFF. Also I don't understand how can any self respecting lady such as Jasmeen allows herself to be so down-trodden and intimidated by him to the point of quivering/grovelling! Why doesn't she just chuck him out? Obviously she's too afraid of being on her own, but she has a lovely caring granddaughter [Alya] who's only too willing to help! To be honest some of the recent/current storylines leave much to be desired. Thank goodness you've retained characters such as Rita, Evelyn, Roy, Carla who manage o bring a little a light hearted humour to what is becoming a very dismal soap!
