Haha @ men in the comments so bothered that this show... doesn’t focus on them? Dares to form plot lines that, yes, are about how bad men affect women’s lives? You are so arrogant if you honestly believe a show dedicated to exploring young women’s lives and the forces that shape them must portray men... positively? It’s not “agendized bias” it’s a recognition and reckoning with misogynistic oppression, that systems uphold (as the same reviewer acknowledges). You made a list of all the bad ways men were represented in this show? Are you serious? Do you realize that anyone can make a list like that about negative/victimizing/degrading representations of women in like SO many more ways and shows? You sound like a whining child having a tantrum and refusing to get off the swing and let one of the other 20 kids at the park have a turn.
