The acting is done well by all. The story line is simple, but engaging for a children's film. The major down fall in my opinion are the songs. There is not a single one that stays with you. "Where the lost things go.." is about the only song with any catching quality. I've seen the original many times. At one point I knew all the songs by heart. I wouldn't watch the return again. Which is unfortunate because I feel as though the actors did an outstanding job with the material they were given.
