This second zombie-themed film from Zack Snyder does feel that he is given the widest possible freedom to imagine by combining zombie, heist and brutal action themes with Snyder's distinctive magnificent visuals and cinematography. In fact, the combination presented in a fresh, exciting, and suitable way with the characterization of zombies that have never existed, even though this film is aware of the fact that the story is mediocre and there are many moments that make the audience say "how come / why not there / why". But, still not a big problem. Well, at least Army of the Dead promises what's in the title and it's still really fun to watch.

With the premise of a young hearing-impaired girl, Alice who after a supposed visitation from the Virgin Mary, is inexplicably able to hear, speak and heal the sick. The Unholy is a horror- religious theme about questioning the faith that is packaged in an effective way to make the audience jump from the seat by the loud jumpscare and scoring even though the storytelling is still in pretty much your stock standard horror flick that we see so often with an anticlimax final act. Thankfully, a strong performance from Cricket Brown, who plays Alice really helps to lift the movie and add some believability to it all. Overall, it is still a very fun, easy and entertaining horror flick.

An accidental killing leads a man down a dark hole of intrigue and murder. Just as he finds love and freedom, one phone call brings back the nightmare. Limited series from Spain adapted from the novel by Harlan Coben of the same title. This is a typical mystery thriller series that doesn't give the clue at the beginning of the episode about what really happened, so that it manages to make the audience even more curious and intoxicated. The rest, The Innocent has a top-notch story construction and gray characters with all the backstory which are well-crafted in guiding the plot. Anyway, if you like stories that are hard to guess with many twists and turns, this is really worth it.

Hutch Mansell, a suburban dad, overlooked husband, a “nobody" whose long-simmering rage is ignited and propels him on a brutal path that will uncover dark secrets he fought to leave behind. The premise does sound familiar and standard, but the execution of this film full of violent acts is so solid with brutal punches and shots that it makes you feel sore accompanied by the main character who is not always able to defend himself and more human. In addition, Bob Odenkirk succeeded in becoming the fearsome man even though he was less well known for his role as an action stud. Overall, Nobody is like a combination of John Wick, Taken, and The Equalizer with more effective humor to break the ice. Definitely the best action film of 2021.

In short this is the story of a woman who wants revenge on her ex-boyfriend who manipulated her. Dwelling more on scheming schemes that are somewhat layered and twisted but still easy to follow. And of course this Thai film does not forget to present a nuance of cute romance with a very funny super light typical of Thai films comedy which are executed perfectly and right on target to make the audiences laugh out loud. All of that is also accompanied by the good acting of each player who manages to bring the characters to life with the right chemistry. Overall, watching this movie is very exciting, entertaining and suitable as a mood booster.

In Zack Snyder we trust, in this film we really get a solid whole story that makes this film the Justice League film it should be. The four hours duration were used without vain to tell the vast expansion of the character of each hero and villain, which are so iconic, complex and clearer motivation with the decent performance of the actors. In addition, the scoring and cinematography are amazing to the splendor of this superhero action film. Overall, This is a real testament to how good this thing is. A Zack Snyder’s vision which is very worthy to be continued as a continuation of the DCEU.

Blood for blood simple plot, Mandy is a revenge story of a man whose lover is killed by a group of brutal sects. All aspects are packaged in a stylish way by combining red, blue, purple psychedelic visuals accompanied by hard rock and heavy metal back sounds to terrorize the audience. Not to forget, this story of revenge clearly presents cruelty, brutality, surreal, violent, bloody, graphic, gory, and disturbing drenched in blood with the outstanding acting performance of Nicholas Cage in a beast mode that is ready to slaughter anyone who gets in his way. Mandy is definitely not for everyone, but this film will definitely become a “cult classic” for horror fans.

Bringing three Academy Award-winning actors into one screen certainly makes a film have high expectations. However, the latest film by John Lee Hancock, which is titled the slow burn psychological thriller, feels like it's trying so hard to become another version of David Fincher's Se7en and Zodiac, where this film is stumbling, losing its appeal that makes the audience bored to follow the storyline to the end. The only aspect that can be relied on is the acting performances of the three actors above which is very captivating, especially Jared Leto, who looks too good to be in this “little” film.⁣ ⁣

The White Tiger is about an ambitious young man who wants to get out of poverty trap is a film that from start to finish more or less shows how a social inequality and cruel side in India occurs from the perspective of the private driver. Through the character of Balram, the audience seems to be taken to follow the story of a lower class who makes you feel empathy and triggers emotions with Adarsh Gourav's excellent acting which deserves thumbs up supported with the amazing Priyanka Chopra who adds the spicy & flavor. The production team has also succeeded in showing a contrasting environment between lower class and upper class. The rest, this film offers an interesting story even though the climax seems rushed.

Korean blockbuster film debut with a space theme set in the world in 2029 where the earth is uninhabitable, a group of space debris sweepers discovers a humanoid girl who will determine the fate of the earth. Even though the storyline is not that innovative, the aspects that have been presented are enough to meet the expectations of a blockbuster film that is so fun packed. The CGI looks incredible, the characters are also given their own motives to enrich the story. It's great as a popcorn film with its slick visuals, unfortunately this film doesn't show in theaters.⁣
