I thought this was a great movie. Very emotional at parts but overall, really heartwarming. I don’t get why there’s so much negativity about Justin’s character being super macho and all the masculinity talk. I felt as though it was a great way to show how people can change once they truly get to know people who aren’t like they are. He comes to love and accept Sam and is fully open with him about how people may view or treat him. That is 100% the reality we live in. If we don’t show these things in movies, tv, etc. how else can a conversation be started and change to start to take place. The point of movies is to keep you entertained and to make you think. If we don’t show uncomfortable things, no one grows.
