Best Friend #1 out of all Persona Games. 5 Star straight for the homie Junpei. The growth of the Characters IN the party is so much more in this game than the later installments. Some of the Social Links are... well... Dated? Overall, there will be at least one Social Link that you may relate to. But know that the good ones ARE a grind. Battle... oooh.... Not being able to control your allies. Hard. It is a dated game with a dated system of RNG. BUT it is manageable. Once you are a couple of hours into the original game, you will get accustomed to dealing with health management yourself. Exploration: Getting tired sucks. But at least it made you space everything out. Unlike in P4 or P5, where you can finish the dungeons in one game day, P3 handles you differently. Where P4 and P5 would be the kind mother, P3FES is the rude uncle that is willing to call your mother fat at the dinner table on a holiday, while spitting in your 8 year old face after smoking a cigar. Hard game is hard. Overall, expect pain, and be ready for cliffhangers, moral dilemmas, tons of jokes, and just... Well play and find out.
