Skip to the last paragraph if you don't want to read how I perceive the show throughout the seasons .To be honest when I first started watching JoJo's I was a bit apprehensive. I did not like part 1 very much (even though now I realize just how important it is) But it is truly an anime that just gets better and better.
My friend kept on encouraging me to watch the rest of it so I began part 2. The first little bit with the battle with Straizo did not have me intrigued. However when the pillerman were introduced along with the Jobro of this season, Caesar, I fell in love with the series. I found the rest of part two to be a lot more comedic and I grew emotional attachments to the characters. I sobbed like a baby when.... um... I don't want to spoil so I'll just say "rocks". If you've watched it, you know what I mean
By the time I finished part 2 I was completely into it, and only loved it more when stands were introduced. The overall plot of Part 3 is simple, but the adventure is very interesting. Some say that they hate part 3 cause it was too repetitive, but personally I love all of the cool character concepts and stand abilities. It really just shows how wild Araki's imagination is. My favorite part of the series is the final battle with ZA WARUDO. It is truly epic. i ALSO sobbed when sOmEoNe got turned into a donut. Rip.
Part 4 shocked me a little bit because the animation changed a little bit, from harsh lines on the face to soft lines and very very very bright colors. The first half of part four was alright, I loved the whole stand-giving arrow, but I believe there could have been a little bit more potential. I was still enthralled though. With introductions to characters like Josuke, Okuyasu, Koichi and Rohan, almost all of my time was spent binging this part. I also loved how they brought back Jotaro and Joseph along for the ride. Then it happened. My favorite villain (I still love you Dio sweetie). Kira was truly unique and strange, and I think had a really cool stand reminiscent of the band Queen. The whole battle with Kira is mostly psychological with a few stand battles here and there, so it really hooks you in. Last episode was personally a little underwhelming, but it concluded the fourth part rather nicely.
Part 5 is my favorite part. They introduced Giorno Giovanna as Dio's son, which is such an interesting take on how to do things. Explaining how Giorno is a JoJo would spoil part 3 so I am not going to go into it. I knew when Bruno licked Giorno's face that this was gonna be a good season (that sounds so weird with no context). It's interesting because Buccerati's crew is part of a gang, but still has a morally good outlook on the world. I fell in love with the main characters, which made my emotional stability completely vanish. The "villains" in this part are not unlike the league of villains in the series My Hero Academia. They are more concentrated and you see them beforehand, whereas in part 3 they seemed to come out of nowhere. The real villain is very interesting, and I personally love Doppio to bits. If they don't animated Stone ocean I am going to be very sad, as this series deserves to live on as both an anime series and a manga.
To anyone debating whether they should watch this amazing series, don't. Just go watch it. They have some of the most interesting and unique characters you will ever see, and probably the most crazy storylines that you will ever experience. You may not like it at first, but if you stick with it you will not regret it. Jojo will become a part of your life that you cherish. I know I do.
