Got the game for 2 reasons. #1: I haven't purchased an MLB The Show game for the last 4 seasons (that's like 2 Olympics). #2: Since the start of baseball has been delayed, I needed my fix. I've played a few games so far and love everything about it. Definitely an upgrade from the last version I played. I enjoy the presentation style. For whatever reason, I really love being able to choose between The Show and MLB Network's broadcast and I'm glad the schedule in Franchise mode incorporates those switches throughout the season. For the most part, I've experienced smooth gameplay. The only hiccup I had was when attempting to field a ground ball. That was likely my fault though. My route efficiency was probably like 2% on that play. I'll need to spend more time in the other modes to see all the changes, but so far it's definitely a 5-star game.
