This was a thoroughly enjoyable adaptation of the invasion of the body snatchers. The atmosphere generated during the scenes where Nichol Kidman is forced to hide her emotional status are well directed and acted. The cameo by Veronica Cartright felt natural and not just shoehorned in for fans of the older versions of the film.

I found this to be incredible slow, but the writing is good and the characters keep me wanting to watch more. Though I would like to see a season, I wouldn't be mad if it didn't get one.
