I think that the characters are supposed to be awkward and unlikable, but the main character Freddie (Karan Soni) is just not funny in this one. His acting style is almost too awkward to be a main character in my opinion. Demi Moore (and the rest of the cast I am unfamiliar with) did a great job with whatever they were trying to do... it’s an ok mindless (adult) “comedy
