The audience needs to understand that this is not a Sci/Fi movie rather an EDUCATIONAL Sci/Fi doc. about the insane probability of what could be out there. For the science kids watching, yes going back to earth to explain their ideas might be sluggish or tiresome. Just remember that they're trying to introduce these highly controversial ideas to the many that don't know much about the science. Well done people. Well done.
