Movie could have been good with its "night attacking ghostly aliens in a village" theme, which it appeared in the beginning of the movie.
But as the movie progresses, logic seems to fade away, e.g. they have a vehicle in a perfect running condition, where do they get spare parts and fuel for it in a post apocalyptic small village is beyond my understanding.
Most importantly the aliens who couldn't break an old and weak wooden door for more than a decade, invaded their house and locality with 10-20 aliens all of a sudden, and managed to kill all residents of the local colony. These aliens were easily killable, even arrows could have killed them, how come stupid humans couldn't deal with them is beyond my logic.
One of the boys seemed avid learner and said that he wants to learn about the aliens and captures one. But later he says he has a plan, it's only revealed in the climax that his plan was to burn his one and only wooden house down which was the only safe place for him for all his life and run on their vehicle with limited fuel to a undecided location. Lol !
I also couldn't understand why did Nicolas Cage commit suicide in such a horrible way, it was totally unnecessary and completely foolish. 😂
The only thing I liked in the movie was the design of the creature because it was something new. The village background of the story was also good. Though they also showed a ruined city nearby. But it was of no use.
