Had such potential! The leads had zero chemistry, none of the jokes landed for me, and it was painfully boring. Didn't mind the goofy stereotypes, but it did get heavy handed at times even for a non-serious movie. Lauren London, as delightful as she is, only really had on-screen chemistry with her brother--but she deserves a raise for having to kiss Jonah Hill (seriously, what WAS look about?!). Wish I could say I liked it but it was a big miss for me.

The show has none of the humor and charm of the original, and it will likely appeal to a certain audience (which isn't me). It's definitely more about social issues and it's way darker than I expected. That being said, the cast has great chemistry and it's a current take on some very real issues. Gave up by episode 5 since I'm not the core audience.

Just shut off your brain and watch because of course it doesn't make sense. If you get mired in the details then you're missing the point of movies like this. I had fun.
