Having obscure industry names tell you how great someone is nonstop for two hours will of course leave you believing Szukalski was the greatest artist of all time. Actually Szukalski will tell you that himself. repeatedly, throughout this documentary, doing little to obscure the extreme delusion of this artist. While his work is magnificent the film does little more than paint him as a tragic product of megalomania and history. The 20th century was cruel to art, and to this one in particular, and this is great look on how the art world uncovers pieces of itself thought lost to the destruction of WWII.

Valley girl Harley Quinn meets Mr. way too many red flags in a rom com where the main characters are literally brain damaged. If you have an ounce of sensibility spare yourself, but if you can suspend all disbelief this light hearted take on vigilantism can be charming.

Starts off promising as a macabre period mystery, then doubles down last minute on the under developed supernatural spin and it’s downhill from there. This is a series that keeps raising the stakes needlessly, like we somehow still care about petty politics given the ramifications of the main conflict. Characters always seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, adding frustration more than tension. Production is gorgeous though, and deserves attention.
