This show has an interesting, if fictitious, story to tell. The plots and characters are compelling enough to keep the viewer returning for more. But further than that, the show is a feast for the eyes. From the opening sequence through to the end, the lovely clothing of the women, the stunning architecture of the building and all of the mouth-watering stock for sale in the large glamorous department store make the easy convenience of on-line purchasing a poor substitute which cannot compare to the experience of dressing up in gloves and hat and spending a day shopping followed by taking tea in the lovely Palm Court restaurant.
