This game brought back so many childhood memories. I'm still very attached to the game to this day and quite often play CP Rewritten. For the initial game, it provided so much content especially when you finished the game. I didn't find out until recently that there were certain missions that could be played at certain times of the year (eg: Halloween, Christmas), and that's what makes Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force one of the best DS games, in my opinion, of all time.

The initial shutdown of the game brought many fans including me to be disheartened. Although it didn't live up to the original, Club Penguin Island proved to be a great concept that was, unfortunately, poorly executed. During the final months of the game however, it did show potential as new and improved content was being released to the public. They even gave non-members a bit more free will than being tightened to the membership paywall, and even allowed free membership in its final weeks. Overall, it was a great game. Just not the way that it was envisioned.

This game brought the entire internet together in it's final days and it's not a surprise to see why. This game alone influenced so many people's childhoods that it's almost ridiculous to talk about. From the launch of the game in 2005 up to the very end in 2017, Club Penguin paved the way for modern-day MMORPG. Although the content began to lack through the beginning of 2013, the friends that were made along the way make up for it. If Disney were to ever remaster Club Penguin, then count me in. Waddle on!
