I think the show is great. It displays the realness of entrepreneurship and shows me that if you want to pitch a product, it must be profitable on your end and your investor's end. It shows you need knowledge mathematically, that you should look for new innovative ideas that blow up. It shows you that even if you are suffering financially, if you want to get on board with people that aren't suffering financially, you must have something that is adding to their wallets.
Obviously, the sharks didn't get rich by accepting any pitch just because the person that is pitching their product is suffering financially and they have a lot of faith in their product. The sharks do sometimes have a rough way to break the news to people that their ideas will not be used, but it is after all teaching you that it is not at all as easy as it seems, and that it is hard to pitch a useful product that benefits lucratively.
