I watched last week's episode with Michael Eric Dyson for a few minutes and I can't speak to what happened during the entire show. What made me change channels was when Dyson gave credit for the current economy to Barack Obama and then suggested his favored candidate for the next presidential election was any of the half dozen Democrats that are running on the (mostly) socialist platform. No challenge from the host to explain why Obama would have any influence over the soaring economy and trade accomplishments of our current president or why we would want a socialist government installed in the current capital of capitalism. He went so far as to imply that Trump panders to racist and other "ist" groups in the country without any corroborating evidence.
If you rely on PBS for your knowledge of the days events you have options like this and Washington Week where you can get rehashed stories from The Washington Post, New York Times and Politico with the usual (Democratic) political point of view. Anti-conservative, anti-Trump, I would say anti-American but the people there are also Americans, I think. But they're not from the America I grew up in.
