I have watched the voice for many years because I enjoy the performances and some of the background information of the contestants. However, I have also watched the show deteriorate as the banter between the coaches currently uses up a significant part of the show. It has also become somewhat vicious (couldn't think of a better word). I enjoy a little banter and humor but it has taken over the show.

ACT continues to ruin performances by the contestants with the over-production. I doubt the contestants themselves are responsible for the high-tech background of their acts. This has been a characteristic of AGT for years but I think it's getting worse. Even the judges comment on the fact that that the lighting, soundtrack, etc. diminished the acts. The first half of Tuesday night's show was one of the worst in AGT history.
