It's like the writers tried so hard to portray girl power from a villain angle that it comes off a little cringe worthy and highly unbelievable sometimes. I know this is fiction and the basis of fiction is already rooted in imagination, but with this movie it's like...the writers projected their imaginary shower scenarios onto script. There are various plot holes that don't add up, like Fran not dying in her apartment, why'd the RUSSIAN MAFIA let her live? They killed the doctor, but not her even though she had no apparent use to them.
The ending was bittersweet, like the writers lazily and begrudgingly accepted that "fine, I guess this elderly abusing sociopath does have to die for what she's done so here you go", and they kill her off in the most pathetic way. It's like they deliberately want to rob you of the satisfaction of her suffering, which she deserves. All in all, acting is good, the rest is bad.
