Terrible. There were 4 of us and after one hour, we all agreed we didn’t know what was going on. Couldn’t figure out who the wife was or son or person they visited in the cemetery. Didn’t say what happened to company at the end. Lighting and directing were bad. Very little car racing until the end but you couldn’t tell who was winning. All 4 of us said but for the 3 other people we were with, we would have left after an 45 minutes.

I love everything Kate Morton writes but this didn’t grab me. It was a slog getting traction ( about 200 pages. I’m usually spellbound but this was so complicated through the use of multiple story and time lines, I could stay close to the characters or follow it especially when I was tempted to put the book down. It was hard to pick it up again.
