Great cast silly movie. A couple of action scenes don't make up for the ridiculous premise the movie is built on.

Definitely nostalgia bate. The first half was not needed and slow, no real build up to the action second half. The Matrix franchise was revolutionary it it use of inventive camera, action scenes and unusual character traits during fight scenes. This was like a PG-13 Matrix game. All the scenes play out mechanically and the characters are mild NPCs. Monster uber mistake of not having Lawrence Fishbourne as a major player in the story. We didn't need to wait 12 years for this.

I looked at this 2 ways when watching, as a direct copy of the anime series or unique series. It completely failed in both. The casting is awful. The sets and clips are cheap, costumes basic...etc. I'm not a fanboy for bebop but watched the anime just prior to live version. I found it difficult to make my way through each episode in a single sitting. To bad I was looking forward to it.

Moving in the same direction as the other Walking dead shows. Low budget scenes, to much talking. Nothing in the writing appears original. Nothing less interesting than constant flash backs to tell a story. The major characters are laughable....enough said. Pretty sure I won't be able to power through the whole season.
