Eleni Pessemier

I started out thinking I’d just watch a few minutes to see what was up. The Mysterious Benedict Society was one of my favorite book series as a kid. But the nostalgia that pulled me in turned into genuine interest and I watched the whole thing! The whimsical costumes and visuals of Stonetown were delightful, the acting was all very good, and the characters and places were just how I’d remembered them (granted, as someone who last read the books probably 10+ years ago). A lot of the details started coming back and even though some of them were different, it felt like returning to a world that I used to love.
