This movie was an abomination. The plot was thin and weak at best. If you are going to make a sequel at least have the decency to stick to the original movies plot lines it is a disgrace. The first of many mistakes is the casting of young Bill, Sam and Harry. In the flashback scene in the Goathouse we see clearly that Donna remembers them very different, they look more punk. Harry had eyeliner, Sam had long hair and Bill had eye tattoos on his legs this is also corroborated in the Our Last Summer song where Sam shows a picture of him and Donna in France where he had a more hippie look with long hair yet in Mamma Mia 2 they completely disregard that and instead cast boys that look absolutely nothing like that flashback just to appear to the teenage girl audience. It also ignored the canon time line because in the Honey, Honey scene it says that Donna met Sam first and there is a picture of them together in France but in the second movie she meets Harry first. There are so many more examples I could bring up but I wont. Maybe they should take a closer look at the original movie before they make a sequel. It was lack luster and boring which is such a shame because the original was really good. This movie is a capitalist scheme to con musical lovers out of there money and I wont stand for it. I does a disgrace to ABBA and the original Mamma Mia. Thank you.
