This show is now my only personality trait. It showcases teenage years so accurately and tackles diverse topics while still having a somewhat fictional feel. If we don’t get season two you will be hearing from my lawyers. the acting is so incredible that i can feel their emotion through the screen even though i don’t speak swedish. i will now be rewatching for the rest of the summer and learning swedish so i can watch the original version. the color schemes made my soul happy and the directing was award worthy. this show made me feel so validated and i can’t stress enough how amazing anxiety was portrayed without directly being mentioned. i found myself not even being able to hate the antagonist because they’re so well rounded and developed characters. the realness of the actors not being 30 years old and having acne and looking NORMAL just added to the show so much. every time i think i’m done writing this review i think of something else that i loved. this show has only been out for less than a week and it is already accumulating a strong fan base. it would be a tragic marketing mistake if season 2 does not happen.
