The third season of 2019- 2020 tries really hard to be as realistic, gritty and serious as 'Crime Patrol' but the result is a laughable caricature of stereotype stock characters (Naqvi Sahab... Ji, Janab) which miserably fails to deliver the same kind of impact. The feeble attempt at realism through the parallel story lines depicting the personal lives of the police personnel involved adds nothing of value and only acts as an unnecessary distraction. I'm not a Sony TV employee or something just trying to slam this show because its made by a rival TV channel or whatever, but just an honest viewer who expects quality content. Just stuffing in excessive dialogues lmakes an already droning show even more tedious to follow, like finishing an overstuffed-turkey, and the subtitles become a nightmare to read. What the makers need to realise is that unless they improve the camera work, which is still the pink hued like they're depicting a live action Savita Bhabhi episode, nothing's going to change. The dialogue needs to be optimal, the camera work needs to be more realistic and the aesthetics need some serious experimentation and exploration. Unless that's followed, God save this show from being tagged as another b-grade crime series.
