Very well-scripted and finally something more concrete as a Kdrama over cheesy lines, plot and too much romance. Found this after watching Five Enough (2016), a hearty KBS family drama (my all time fav that I would rewatch w/o cringing) with actress Shim Hyesun being very successful in her role as a supporting actress, Lee Yeontae. I thought her success there helped her get cast as the lead role in My Golden Life, in which her performance even exceeded what I was expecting for! Story plot starts to get your interest after you pulled through and stay on past the 1st episode :) ALways a delight to see her act since Five Enough :)
