This movie proves yet again that Srijit Mukherjee is the only director who takes risks and ventures out in radically different genres. With his own sprinkle of ideas.
And some people love him and hate him for the same reason.
People who are saying it's 15-20 minute plot are probably the stupidest audience ever. They probably believe a movie 100% script and dialogue.
Unfortunately it's not, it's about fleshing out a cinematic experience out of a script and I can say with full confidence that it definitely has delivered.
Considering the budget and everything of a regional movie, the movie is hands down a cinematographic eye-candy. The music is thematic, evoking the wild and unpredictable feeling of African savanah. The animal shots were really good and the vfx were good for the budget. The plot twist employment was superb, all in all it was a full "paisa-wasool" experience.
I'd rate it a solid 8/10.
