I was so excited when I heard about this series as yet another fan of Vampire diaries and somewhat the Originals. What can I say this season was a huge let down, almost unbearable. It seemed more like a SJW nightmare than a spin off of two of the best fantasy series of all time. Considering that both TVD and OT went off the rails and ended like train wrecks you would think they would bench Julie Plec. They need to make some tough choices, get a fresh and unpolitical writer that has potential to take what Julie started and drag it out of the mud. As it stands now I doubt there will be a second season and if there is I won’t be watching it. Hope, Rick, and Lizzie are the ONLY talent on this season. I’m on episode 7 and I am pretty much forcing myself to finish it, but I have zero belief it will improve. For that to happen they will need to completely take it in another direction and scrap almost the entire cast. P.S You shouldn’t have killed off like every fan favorite that could enhance this series like KLAUS maybe. Anyway, good luck with your boring, shallow, offensive, disappointment of what is known as the ashes of two great fantasy series that ended in flames.
