Very frustrating, characters ( so many) brought in to different scenes without any introduction, sometimes I felt i had picked up another book as characters did not connect, by the time i was at chapter 18 the main character (with the distracting name Elodie) in the beginning chapters was lost to me ,I had to put the book (unfinished reading) in a charity basket as I was too angry with it, never had such a negative experience with a chosen book before, would not be inclined to chose same author again sadly.
