Brilliant cast but non-existent storyline. The script is so poor that even the talented cast couldn't save it. The story just wasn't compelling enough. The characters were very feeble and the plot seemed forced. The characters also lacked depth. Really disappointed.

I really have no idea why this show has such low ratings on Rotten Tomatoes and Imdb. I really loved the show.... sure it goes beyond the realm of satire but it shows so much more. Love, friendship, family, workplace relationships. I really liked the show and also loved Malkovich and Carell's chemistry

10 minutes into the movie and I already hated it. The characters had no background and depth to them. As a revenge horror maybe the movie worked but the plot was predictable and cliched. Most of the time you knew what was coming next. Also, in the entire first half of the movie there is hardly any intelligible conversation between the two leads. No matter how outre your personality may be, people are hardly likely to only converse in metaphors all the time. All the conversation was just some random symbolism about planets and starlings, etc. I know the visuals are made that way to appeal to niche audience and they evoke a psychedelic feel but I didn't actually enjoy it. The visuals were surreal and used saturated color effects. The first half of the movie just dragged on and on. Although, to be fair, the hippie cult was frightening and gave me the chills. I did not enjoy this movie. It was predictable and half the time you weren't sure what was happening or why was it happening so slow. The movie has enough gore, violence, and action to excite action fans but do not be fooled-this action is preceded by an hour of mind numbing garbage. Avoid watching.
