Anytime you take a large group of actors and confine them all to a convent it is extremely risky because of all the moving parts involved, and finding the right people for each role. The movie was shocking, weird, and very long. (And weird) All in all i found myself questioning the directions and intent of the cult after while. I love symbolism and well thought out depth but after a certain point i found myself less and less enthralled by what was happening. Not terrible- but the acting and supernatural horror i saw prior to this(hereditary) was much more enjoyable...
