I did not like the series. It seemed disjointed. The passage of time was confusing. I found I did not develop any attachment to the characters, especially Alice. I did not like anything about this character.

I did not get drawn in. It did not ring true to me in terms of the characters, how they behaved and the author did make me care about the characters. In short without more astute and believable character development I could not get hooked.
