****S P O I L E R A L E R T**** In my opinion I enjoyed the story, I wasn't happy on what happened to Joel and Ellie, but I'm hoping a DLC will be release :P I understand on things in this game and reasons why some characters died by other characters. There are opinions on why Joel deserved to die a and didn't. One side said he deserved better because he was given a second chance of raising a little girl that resembles his daughter. Other side said he deserved to die because he was the bad guy and could have cured the world if he didn't kill everyone in the hospital and took Ellie. I was a bit ok with Joel's death but not how he died, I'd rather want him to die in a bad ass way instead of being wacked by a golf club :< Same thing to Jesse and Manny. It seems as if Naughty Dog tried making the game more realistic by having popular characters die by non-bad ass deaths. Just like how General George S. Patten died by 12 days after his car accident by Congestive Heart Failure. But let me explain POV from characters from this game. Joel's POV: His daughter Sarah died by gunshot and when Joel's mission was to smuggle Ellie, he felt like she was his daughter and he didn't want to loose her, that's why he killed everyone in the Firefly Hospital and took Ellie. Abby's POV: Her dad was the best surgeon in the Firefly, Abby wanted to be trans so her dad did the surgeon on her, from male to female. Her dad got killed by Joel during his massacre in the hospital and wanted revenge. She got her revenge and now Ellie wants revenge. So it's like a cycle. From some views on Joel, he's the bad guy because of his history. Used to be Firefly and Hunter. Other views on Joel, he's a badass person who just wanted a daughter.
