I have played a few of the other Fire Emblems games; don't tend to be as much into hack and slashes (so I may be biased), but I don't think it has the same strategy involved.. I would still play for the story line, even if it wasn't my favorite "style" per say, but.. the storyline is kinda weak on this one. Would be good- if you maybe- didn't know who some of the characters were, and needed a recap but kinda some of the dialogue and storylines from past games with past characters.. almost rebatim. Comes accross rquife repetitive very quickly. Bygones be bygones, I did enjoy the game, but definitely not your traditional fire emblem game. I am glad I got it used for $20, because that is what it is worth to me $20, not $40 like the other ones they made before.
