David Day – Google

Waste of time really. After the First episode it was clear that the main character was hiding from a assassin/ CIA/ terrorist past. The plot was too drawn out for 8 episodes, could have been easily covered in 4. Not impressed with the acting from the main characters, the daughter was not believable and the main character’s actions were unrealistic, within hours of leaving the witness protection programme she is asking the policeman who was protecting her, to help her? Not realistic at all. The main bad guy, Nick, was also not believable, one minute he is in charge and knows exactly what to do, the next he hasn’t got a clue. I think the plot drew a lot from the real life Patty Hearst, only not as realistic by a long way. I did watch the last episode, only to see what happened, there was an attempt at a twist at the end, but by that time I was just waiting for the credits.

Couldn’t seem to make its mind up to be funny, serious or sad. Much too long and the ending was not really a surprise, was it ?. Main character’s were not likeable at all. The plot was ok to start, but the point was made , early in the film that most humans now live in a social media bubble and don’t care, And that was the film repeating that over and over until the end. I was getting so bored I nearly switched off so I could play on my computer game 🤭
