Here's my casting if a movie was made Nora - Judy Dench (old) , Jodie Whittaker (young) Polly - Jackie Woodburne Jess - Kate Winslet Isabel - Lily James Percy - Leonardo De Caprio Meg - Emily Watson Daniel Miller- Daniel Radcliffe And the rest would be bit parts

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and provided excellent escapism during this current Coronavirus crisis. It's a shame none of Kste Mortons books have made it to the big screen. I think if a film was ever made of this Lily James would make the perfect Birdie. Perhaps with Jenna Coleman as Elodie,. Maggie Smith as the older Lucy and James Norton as Leonard.
