I had no clue that J Whedon produced the Nevers. So, there was zero inclination of biased. I wanted to watch some Victorian Era series with women as Leads. But I didn't expect to watch a series that would be so relatable to today's world's chaos. And the show beautifully plays with the yearning for Hope amidst the pandemonium of society where people dictate others to stay in order. Still, in the truth, there is no order, no discipline but only the play of power-hungry people trying to benefit from people who have no voice. Amalia and Penance, the two angels on the shoulder, definitely are what we need now as Hope.
I can't wait for more for Season 2 of The Nevers!
