Some things seemed off and I'm not a cinema pro enough to point out which things
Some scenes were nice and I did like Kristen, she displayed a cool personality
But that's pretty much it

Very sweet movie
I would have liked a little more depth to it, even though it's supposed to be a funny comedy (especially more depth to the forming friendship of Richie and the other kids)

Omg why am I not surprised she loves Stephanie Meyer ? 🤦🤦🤦
The book "the selection" started as a bliss, feminist and all, and ended up being that inevitable stupid fantasist love triangle when the main character loses all personality and gets actually attracted by this prince who is really not that interesting as a character... Really, sorry for hating on it but I was so disappointed. It's like so many female writers out there live in their unhealthy dreams instead of trying to improve the reality by writing meaningful things. I mean, of course, I get it, writings and books are just supposed to make you feel good, not change the world. But... 😒😣😣😣😣 Anyways, that's my feelings about it
